Pradeep Rangaswamy Kumar is an Indian playback singer and music director who has worked in Tamil language films. After beginning his career as a Carnatic musician, in the 2010s, he has regularly collaborated with composers Santhosh Narayanan and Sean Roldan. The 36-year-old singer started his career singing at the age of 24. His first step into singing was through the 2010 Rajinikanth starer movie Enthiran in which he sang a small soundtrack to the tunes composed by A R Rahman. But his big break came in the year 2012 with his collaboration with music composer Santhosh Narayanan and singing in the movies Attakathi and Pizza, from there throughout the years Pradeep Kumar grew in the hearts of the listeners for his magical voice and later in the year 2014 won the best playback singer award for singing the song Aagayam Theepidithal from the movie Madras which was also composed by Santhosh Narayanan and he won the best playback singer in Filmfare, SIIMA and Vijay awards.
